1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy describes how Apex rings LLC, 2100 US 301, Palmetto, FL 34221 ("Apex Rings", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares your information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly (name, email, shipping address, payment details, order history), information generated by your Apex Ring and companion app (biometric measurements, device telemetry), and information we receive when you file a warranty or Apex Care claim (photos of the product, description of damage). We also collect basic analytics about how you use our website (IP address, browser type, pages viewed).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to fulfill orders, provide product features (sleep scoring, recovery insights), review warranty and Apex Care claims, provide customer support, prevent fraud, improve our products, and comply with legal obligations. We will never sell your health data.

4. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share data only with service providers strictly necessary to deliver your order or operate the service:

• Shopify — checkout, payment processing, order management
• Stripe / Shop Pay — payment processing
• Shipping carriers — order delivery
• Manufacturing and fulfillment partners — to produce and ship your ring and process warranty replacements
• Backend infrastructure providers — to host this site and store warranty-claim records
• Email and customer-support tools — to communicate with you about your order

We do not share, rent, or sell your personal or health data to advertisers.

5. Data Retention

• Order records: 7 years (tax and accounting requirements)
• Warranty & Apex Care claim records (including photos): 4 years after claim closure
• Account email and marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Health data in the app: kept as long as your account is active; deletable any time from the app

6. Security

Health data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment processing is handled by PCI-DSS compliant providers; we never store your full payment card details. Warranty-claim photos are stored in a private bucket accessible only to authorized staff.

7. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@apexrings.com.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, to request deletion, to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

EU/UK residents (GDPR): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases are contract performance, legitimate interests, and consent (where applicable). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the site and analytics cookies (with your consent where required) to improve performance. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

9. Children

Our site and products are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
